FANTASTIC!!!!!  I wish my dog did that!
lgbtlaughs:

My dog King has three scarfs he switches between: rainbow, blue, and pink. He loves them, and if you take them off, he’ll steal them and put them back on. When we walk him through town all of the bitches (I actually do mean lady-dogs!) follow him around town, and even the cats love him! Today, my mom and I decided that he’s the dog-version of Sassy Gay Friend. My first thought after that conversation was that I had to share it with you. ^_^(Submitted by psychicpsycho)

This is a great idea, because everybody’s knows that abortions are a classic impulse buy — one of those things you toss into the cart at checkout, like Us Weekly or Sugar Babies! …That’s why I am giving a well-deserved tip of my hat to South Dakota. Now let’s be clear, folks: this abortion law (requiring a three-day waiting period to get an abortion) is not limiting a woman’s rights. As South Dakota Dennis Daugaard said, ‘I hope that women who are considering abortion will use this three-day period to make good choices.’ See? He’s clearly pro-choice, in that he sometimes uses the word ‘choice.’

Now personally, I think any procedure a doctor performs should have a three-day waiting period — unless that procedure is to save the life of a handgun, because in South Dakota, there is no waiting period for guns of any kind! South Dakota backs a woman’s right to choose — as long as it’s between a .45 and a semi-automatic.

Indiana government still doesn't get it →

Reason #5,245,143 why I NEVER want to live in Indiana again!

gaywrites:

Since we’ve been following the gay marriage debate in Indiana lately, here’s the latest installment.

Yesterday the state senate passed a bill 40-10 to constitutionally ban gay marriages and civil unions. The state house has already approved the bill.

That means the next step is for the legislature to re-approve the measure in 2013 or 2014, in which case it will turn to the people of Indiana, who will vote on the matter.

This is so frustrating. Luckily there’s a whole lot of time in between now and when this could actually become a law. That gives us a lot of time to rally against it and gain tons of support for marriage equality in the state.

Indiana supporters of marriage equality, get ready for a fight! It’ll be tough, but we can do it.

Contemporary women understand the power of their own sexuality and objectify and exploit themelves before men – or other women – get the chance. We’re starting to enjoy the liberation of being in control of our bodies but contrary to old-school feminism, being in control doesn’t necessarily mean saying no. Confronting what we are not ‘supposed’ to be – sexual, provocative, dominant, perverse – broadens the scope of possibilities to shape our own identities in any way we want instead of choosing from the limited options men prefer to create for us. It enables us to live more open, expressive lives.

This one strikes home today as I have been trying to find the motivation to begin exercising again…..I like to exercise…or I like the way I feel when I have exercised.  But it’s just so darn hard to get out of bed!

The past is a lonely and painful road to walk alone…
